Based in Linz, Austria, NXAI is a leading center for European AI innovation, turning advanced research into real-world industrial applications. Focused on next-generation xLSTM architectures, we offer companies a sovereign, on-premise alternative to US hyperscalers. A prime example is our zero-shot time series foundation model, TiRex, which delivers industrial enterprises a true technological edge - operating up to 50× more efficiently than traditional transformer models.

As we now scale and build our commercial engine, we are looking for motivated people who want to join us on this journey and actively shape the future of AI with full commitment.

Within this role you act as the CRO’s extended arm in the pipeline with a strong sales focus. You build relationships with industrial enterprises, qualify deals with discipline and drive opportunities all the way to closing. Managing 2-3 parallel enterprise deals with an ACV of >€250k is your playground.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic outbound & lead qualification based on pre-qualified lists to target decision-makers (C-level, Heads of Manufacturing, IT, Operations) in Industry 4.0, Robotics, and Energy.

  • Peer-to-Peer Use Case matching through independent discovery calls and needs assessments, aligning client challenges with our core technologies (TiRex / xLSTM).

  • Collaborative deal strategy in close alignment with our CRO to assess risks and develop sales strategies for key accounts, leaving technical scoping to our AI Solution Architect and Engineering team.

  • Independent closing with team support to drive the entire sales cycle, working hand in hand with Sales and Tech Team for PoCs and tailored proposals.

  • Identifying opportunities & estimating scope by spotting upselling potential and collaborating with the team on resource and budget estimations.

  • Contract negotiation & pipeline discipline to secure transparent agreements while maintaining a clean, structured HubSpot pipeline (forecasting, deal stages).

  • Networking & industry presence to expand your personal network in the DACH industry, leveraging events and conferences.

Job requirements

What We Ask

  • A strong technical foundation with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or proven experience as a Technical Sales Engineer/Consultant in AI or Industrial Software.

  • A minimum of 5 years of B2B Enterprise Sales experience in AI or SaaS, backed by a proven track record of closing complex deals (ACV >€250k, sales cycles >3 months).

  • An established DACH network within manufacturing, robotics or energy, combined with excellent communication skills in both German and English and confidence in customer-facing settings at C-level.

  • A process-driven dealmaker mentality focused on methodical execution, utilizing HubSpot and generative AI tools as standard daily gear to manage multiple initiatives in a highly data-driven and efficient way.

  • A collaborative hunter spirit who independently drives deals to a close with high ownership, while deeply valuing the exchange with internal experts to turn customer needs into reality.

  • A proactive Self-Starter with a Can-Do attitude who thrives in an early-stage setup, takes full responsibility for outcomes and sees problems as starting points rather than roadblocks.

  • A strong sense of unity that approaches clients with deep empathy, balances high standards with pragmatism ("done beats perfect") and is genuinely driven to help scale NXAI into the European AI champion.
